Privacy Policy

Printerade uses the information needed to make and deliver your order. Optional site measurement is separate, off by default, and used only if you choose it.

What is collected

When you place an order

• Your name : so we know whose order it is.
• Your shipping address : so the package goes to the right porch.
• Your email address : for the order confirmation, tracking, and any questions about your design.
• Your phone number, only if you choose to give it, for delivery issues.
• Your personalization details : the name, text, tail number, colors, logo choice, or uploaded artwork that goes onto the item.
• Order details : what you bought, when, and for how much.

When you use the customizer

The design customizer at customize.html saves your work-in-progress design in your own browser using local storage, so you do not lose it if you close the tab. That design stays on your device. It is not uploaded to Printerade unless you complete an order or send it in a message.

When you use the contact form

The contact form collects your name, email, chosen topic, order number if you include one, and your message, so we can actually reply to you. It is delivered through Formspree, a form-handling service.

Automatically

Printerade does not use advertising trackers or behavioral profiling. With your optional consent, Printerade records a small aggregate measurement event: a page, product ID when applicable, a boolean indicating whether this is a new browser session, and a fixed traffic-source category. It does not include your name, contact details, order details, personalization, page title, search terms, full referrer, or raw browsing session. Visits in the owner dashboard are consented browser sessions, not unique people; traffic from before this measurement launched is unavailable. You can change this choice using the measurement preferences link in the footer. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track prevent optional measurement.

When a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, Google Analytics loads only after the same consent. It receives a sanitized page location, a sanitized page referrer, and allowlisted shop interactions; Google may also process browser, device, and network request data plus its analytics cookies under its policy. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics, clears this tab’s measurement session, and clears Google Analytics cookies available to this site. Netlify may separately keep standard server logs, such as IP address and requested pages, for security and troubleshooting; those logs are not this optional analytics dashboard.

Payments : handled entirely by Stripe

This is the part people ask about most, so plainly: Printerade never sees your card number.

Checkout is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own secure checkout page and go straight to Stripe. They are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on printerade.com or any Printerade computer.

What comes back to Printerade from Stripe is only what is needed to fulfill and support the order: your name, email, shipping address, the amount paid, the last four digits of the card, and the order reference. Stripe handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Orders placed through Etsy or Amazon are handled under those marketplaces' own privacy and payment policies.

What your information is used for

• Making, packing, and shipping your order.
• Sending order confirmations, tracking, and replies to your questions.
• Handling returns, replacements, and warranty claims.
• Keeping the records required for tax and accounting.
• Preventing fraud and abuse.

You will only get marketing email from Printerade if you specifically ask for it, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

Printerade does not sell your data

Your information is never sold, rented, traded, or handed to data brokers or advertisers. It is shared only with the handful of services required to actually run the shop:

• Stripe : payment processing.
• USPS : your name and address, printed on the shipping label.
• Etsy and Amazon : only for orders placed on those marketplaces.
• Formspree : delivery of contact form messages.
• Google Analytics : optional aggregate measurement, only with your consent.
• Email and web hosting providers : to store and serve messages and this site.

Information may also be disclosed if the law requires it : a valid subpoena, court order, or legal obligation.

Custom artwork you send

Photos, logos, and files you send for a custom order are used only to make your item. Printerade will not publish your artwork, your pet's photo, or your company logo in social posts, listing photos, or portfolio images without asking you first. If you would like your files deleted after your order ships, just say so and they will be.

How long it is kept

Order records are retained as needed for order support, accounting, and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact form messages and custom artwork files are kept only as long as they are useful for supporting your order, then deleted.

How it is protected

printerade.com is served over HTTPS. Payment data is isolated at Stripe. Order records are managed through the shop’s payment, email, and hosting services. No system is perfectly secure, but nothing is stored that does not need to be stored, which is the strongest protection there is.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask Printerade to:

• Tell you what information is held about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information, where record-keeping law allows.
• Receive a copy of your data.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email.

Email PrinteradeSocial@gmail.com and expect a reply within 30 days : realistically within 24 hours, because this shop is not that big.

Children

Printerade products are not marketed to children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13. If a child has submitted information here, email us and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes affecting existing orders will be emailed to affected customers.

For your security, never include payment card details or passwords in a message.

Shopping bag and optional measurement

The shopping bag saves product choices, quantities, and personalization on this browser using local storage. Clear the bag or your browser storage to remove them. No card details are stored in the bag. Optional measurement is off until you choose Accept; declining has no effect on shopping, checkout, or essential cart storage.

Approved nameplate designs

The studio processes previews on your device. When you approve a nameplate, its proof, original uploaded logos, and design specifications are saved privately in Supabase for Printerade to fulfill and support your order. A guest session identifies your saved designs without requiring an account signup. Paid orders are linked to the customer and shipping details provided at Stripe checkout. Printerade receives an order notification through Resend and accesses the files through its private owner workspace. Preview drafts and your bag are also saved in this browser; clearing browser storage does not delete an approved order from the shop. Contact Printerade to request access, correction, or deletion under the policy above.
